Strike III
Strike III is destined to be the next band out of Newport City to break it big. They are “up and coming” and starting to get much earned notoriety in the music industry. They could be further along but they refuse to follow the path that has led so many other bands down a bad path. They want to be the biggest “local band” on the planet! Strike III consists of lyricist, guitarist, and vocalist Max Robins, bass player Spyke, drummer Marcus Pintsy, and guitarist Grayson X. While Max records solo music under his own name, the music he does with Strike III is expresses his anger and frustration with a self-centered society that doesn’t care about anyone or anything. He has grown up and spent a lot of time with the same people The ViGis fight for which is one of the most important reasons Strike III is one of their most admired and respected bands.
After surviving one seriously heinous foster care home after another with Bones, Spyke finally escaped on his own and took Bones with him. He is like her big brother. He introduced Max to Bones in hopes that he could help her find her path in life and, at least so far, it is working.
The first album by Strike III, Golden Age, is quickly gaining recognition by music media and fans alike. The first single of the same name is becoming a viral sensation. They have also quietly and unbeknownst to them, attracted the attention of BludGluv’s mastermind, Sammy Sevin, and it’s only a matter of time before they hit the road with Black Mask Mafia and take the next step to immortality. But Max is smart enough to know that the line between “one hit wonder” and “long term success”, between “made it” and “what could’ve been”, is very thin.
